Flats can be produced ʻover sizeʼ for bright drawing, in which case the sizes in the matrix should be read as finished bright or cold drawn sizes. Intermediate non-standard sizes are a speciality.
Flats are typically supplied with sharp corners, but radius corner, sharp corner, radius edge, round edge or chamfered edge flats can be specially produced.

Tolerances to typical national standards can be supplied as plus and minus, all plus, or all minus. Tight tolerances can be considered.

Bars are only available in lengths, not in coils. Maximum length typically 12,000mm (39′ 0″)
Typically cold sheared, but large sizes may be cut with an abrasive disc. Cold sawn ends are also available

Unless specified otherwise, the supply condition is ‘as rolled’. Bars can also be supplied hardened & tempered, annealed, normalised and stress relieved.
Bars can be supplied de-scaled by way of shot-blasting and supplied dry or lightly oiled.
Minimum order quantity
a. From standard billet stock. Order quantities below 10 tonnes will incur a small-quantity price extra. Where smaller quantities are offered, they will never be less than 3 tonnes.
b. From specially purchased billets. On every occasion, order conditional on receipt of a written undertaking to consume specially purchased billets in an agreed timescale.
