Tarlok is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) and until recently was Chairman of UK Steel Association. Tarlok commenced his career in the steel industry and held various positions culminating in being appointed Finance Director of the Hot Rolled sub-division (Turnover £100M+) of Glynwed International Plc. He was appointed to his first general management role in 1996 and became Managing Director/CEO of Acenta (formerly Niagara LaSalle (UK) Limited) in January 2004.
Colin holds a first class BSc honours degree in Accounting from Queens University Belfast, a post graduate diploma and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Colin has held a number of finance lead roles in private equity and prior to that was global business director for a US multinational with responsibility for the Phillips Global TV supply chain. Colin was also operations finance director at Marconi plc during a period of 40% growth.
